Join us in beautiful Caversham Court Gardens for LOOK DRAW BUILD - a fun, creative drop-in workshop for families! Explore, sketch and build inspired by nature and architecture. Drop in activities 1100 to 1300 and 1400 to 1600.
LOOK DRAW BUILD @ Caversham Court Gardens is a playful and hands-on outdoor workshop for families. As part of the www.archi-adventure.com programme, participants explore the historic gardens through architecture, observation and creativity. There are three interactive activities:
LOOK - Discover hidden shapes and patterns in the gardens.
DRAW your favourite view, frame it, sketch it!
BUILD imaginative structures inspired by what you have seen.
Sessions will take place in the gardens, starting at the Vinery. Volunteers will look after bikes/buggies etc near entrance.
The activities are suitable for children aged 5+, but all are welcome. Volunteers will be on hand to guide you through the experience, and all materials are provided. Come along, get creative and see the gardens in a whole new way.
Please note: limited wheelchair access, no ramp available down to vinery, steps only.
