Solstice at Wasing

Sat 20 Jun from

Solstice at Wasing is a carefully curated ceremony; a celebration to mark our gratitude for the Sun – the giver of all life and energy. Gathering around the fire, we honour the earth and her elements through music, movement, song and prayer. The night culminates in a torchlit procession to Solstice Hill to welcome in the Sun to his longest day.

The solstice is a turning point, a reminder of the cyclical nature of life. As one, we embrace this time to connect deeply with ourselves, each other and the land. Solstice at Wasing is an exquisite celebration of the longest day of the year, a 12-hour ceremony set in nature, offering space to pause, reflect, and renew. At dawn, a torch-lit procession will lead to the breathtaking Solstice Hill for a guided Sunrise Ceremony, welcoming the longest day in an intimate moment of unity and connection.

Hosted at our enchanting Sacred Glade, Solstice At Wasing celebrates the height of Summer and will feature performances by incredible artists Ayla Schafer, Omer Gonen-Haela, Дeva, Ripples Collective and many more. Together, they complete a rich and diverse programme of music, nature and connection at one of the UK’s most beautiful outdoor venues. For the full line up, head to our website.

Topping the bill is Ayla Schafer, multilingual ‘world folk’ singer-songwriter and visionary artist, celebrated for her captivating repertoire of original, poetic songs in Spanish, English, and Proto-Celtic. Celebrated internationally as ‘A Voice of the Earth,’ she stands as one of the most respected voices in the realm of Spiritual Music. Ayla’s work reflects a profound connection to the natural world and ancestral wisdom, crafting sacred, intimate, and heart-opening performances that invite listeners to reconnect with their truest selves.

Multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter & ceremony leader Omer Gonen-Haela brings his captivating, deeply atmospheric music to the Sacred Glade. Shaped by his extensive travels and musical studies across India, the Middle East and Brazil, his songs are prayers of depth, love and connection, holding the vision of a world based on respect, trust and connection. Joining Omer in ceremony will be Noam Enbar and Marwan Halabi of the Ripples Collective.

Дeva is a Budapest-based musician, producer, vocalist, and visual artist whose music bridges the ancient and contemporary worlds. Drawing on Hungarian folk traditions, she blends atmospheric sounds, pulsating bass, and polyphonic mantras into immersive soundscapes. She released her debut album Csillag in 2022, followed by Avar via Move Gently Records, and in the same year performed at Eurosonic Festival, received the Music Moves Europe Award, and was named Best Female Singer by Radio Petőfi.

Israeli Noam Enbar and Palestinian Marwan Halabi bring a duet of Arabic and Hebrew voices from the Ripples Collective. With just two voices and two guitars, their performances offer a powerful musical expression of unity, coexistence and shared humanity, and carry a message that feels both deeply personal and urgently collective.

Wider Horizons produces transformational gatherings in nature, weaving together sacred singing, meditation, prayer, intention setting and expressive movement to create spaces for connection and renewal.

Solstice at Wasing is the ultimate destination to celebrate this midsummer, offering an exceptional programme rooted in ceremony, nature, wellbeing, and world music.
