Baum, Maggs and Taylor

Baum, Maggs and Taylor have been playing as a trio since 2019 and together have a wealth of varied musical experience.

Dave Maggs (guitar, slide, mandocello and harmonica) has played with The Contortionists and more recently Musikissmo, as well as The Bacuma Boys. Andy Baum (guitar and mandolin) played with Hilary James and Simon Mayor as part of Slim Panatella and the Mellow Virginians, and with Dave in The Bacuma Boys. 

Andy Taylor (fiddle) recorded a solo album as Drew Taylor for EMI at Abbey Road studios in the late 1970s. He has appeared at the Grand Ol’ Opry, was a one time member of the ‘almost legendary’ Clayson and the Argonauts, and gigged with his Western Swing/Cajun band Drew’s Brew throughout the 1980s.

Their music varies from traditional and contemporary folk to blues and jazz, plus the odd novelty number and some lesser known chart hits.
