Concert: Sing to the Moon
A concert of varied choral music past and present
Reading Phoenix Choir will perform a selection of, mainly a cappella, music from across the centuries from Hildegard von Bingen to Laura Mvula. The music will also include works by Harris, Wesley, Mendelssohn, Bruckner, John Rutter and David Bowie. You will also be introduced to some excellent newer choral pieces by some modern female composers and enjoy some arrangements of well known popular music.
There will be a retiring collection to support the work of Launchpad, Reading’s leading homelessness prevention charity.
