Join us on Sunday, 5th January for the Grand Slam
I place of our usual open mic the winners from Feb-Dec of 2024 compete against each other to win the title of the Dreading Slam Champion for the next 12 months The showdown will commence at 7.30pm (doors 7.15) And it’s Free to come along….
2024 has seen some incredibly talented Slam Poets win through to the Final making for a hotly contested event and gives you, the audience, the unique opportunity to hear the very best of Berkshire Poetry. You might even be randomly selected to judge the performances and become part of the event. (Please note that this event is not Open Mic).
There will be an open mic quickfire contest, this time the theme will be up to 5 lines on the beginning .
Our regular Dreading Slam Open Mic Competition will return to its usual format from the 2ndFebruary giving you 11 chances to qualify for next year’s Grand Slam.
