Reading Carnival Community Meeting Hosted by Reading Caribbean Nation

The Reading Carnival is one of our community’s most beloved events, celebrating the vibrant culture, music, and history of the Caribbean while bringing together people from all walks of life.

Reading Caribbean Nation are incredibly excited to begin planning for Reading Carnival 2025! However, the event’s success relies heavily on the involvement and generosity of individuals and organisations like you.

They are fundraising to make carnival happen in 2025. There are two meetings here at the centre where you can find out more - on Weds 23 October and Mon 11 November, both at 6pm.

Located in Reading, it is a distinguished non-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to the celebration and promotion of Caribbean cultural arts and the vibrant spectacle of the Caribbean carnival parade, we also are event planners, Operating within the local area, our organization is committed to distributing and selling a curated selection of cultural merchandise, carnival costumes, artwork and crafts that are emblematic of the rich Caribbean heritage. Creating community workshops in costume design, DJ workshops, entrepreneurial workshops much much more.
