Book Launch: What Christ? Whose Christ? New Options For Old Theories

Reading Minster is delighted to host a special launch event for the new book What Christ? Whose Christ?: New Options for Old Theories, edited by Dr. Alan Race and Jonathan Clatworthy.

This new book explores the question of how to think about Christ, the central figure of Christian faith, for today. Is our image of Christ the same as the historical figure of Jesus? Does it make sense to think of Jesus as divine? How do feminists and people of other faiths imagine Christ? Can we rescue the white Jesus from his place in the colonial expansion of Christian faith around the world?
