Reading Old - a Garden Cemetery

Reading Old, which opened in 1843, is one of the earliest examples of a Garden Cemetery in the UK. Guided walks and talks around the cemetery focusing on the history of the Garden Cemetery movement plus exploring some of the nature and wildlife related to the original planting of the site by Sutton Seeds Ltd.  The walks/talks are run by volunteers from Econet Friends of Reading Old group.
