Rain or shine was formed in 1997 as a new u.k. based professional touring theatre company. Rain or Shine's roots originated from the 'Festival Players Theatre Company', which had undertaken successful national outdoor shakespeare tours since 1993. Rain or Shine's directors, Ken Meekings, and Danielle Lade bring a wealth of experience in both london and provincial theatre to our productions. Rain or Shine is registered with companies house and is delighted to include as members many of the highly talented actors from the ‘players’ former productions, which combined with the wealth of backstage, marketing and admin skills is a guaranteed recipe for success. The company's aim is to “bring classical professional theatre into the heart of local communities at an affordable price”, and we hope that we succeed in this aim.
