Simon Dinsdale
A highly experienced, versatile accompanist (organ and piano) and continuo player, Simon Dinsdale began playing the organ at the age of 13 and by the time he was 16 had recorded his first disc.
He is a former Organ Scholar of Chichester Cathedral where he accompanied the world-renowned choir regularly during the daily sung services in the cathedral. Whilst there he studied organ with the cathedral organist, Alan Thurlow and the late David Sanger.
Now living in Berkshire Simon travels extensively throughout the UK as accompanist, continuo player and organist to several choirs, and regularly plays at cathedrals throughout the UK. Other recent performance venues have included Eton, Winchester and Wellington College chapels.

Berkshire Organists' Association
Patron: Dame Gillian Weir
The Berkshire Organists' Association is proud to support the series of organ recitals on the historic Father Willis organ in the Concert Hall, ensuring that this important instrument is played and heard regularly.
Our association was formed in 1921 with the aims of promoting the art of organ playing, bringing the organ and its music to the public, and providing advice and support to players. We hold regular organ-related events monthly for members, including social gatherings and visits to churches, cathedrals and concert halls across Southern England. We also arrange public organ concerts in local churches.
