Reading Climate Festival 2024

ReadingCAN is back this summer with the 5th annual Reading Climate Festival – two weeks of events to inspire and support Reading’s journey to a happier, healthier, net-zero town.

The programme has something for everyone – including a few whole town events - and almost every event is free! Here are just some of the highlights:

• A Youth Mobilisation Day organised by and for young people
• Events to help local businesses and schools measure, understand and reduced their climate impacts
• A chance for your organisation to be part of a collective pledge to work towards net zero in Reading
• A sustainable fashion show curated from local charity shops
• Wellbeing walks and talks about our amazing local nature
• Events to help householders reduce bills and create warmer homes
• A Big Lunch in Forbury Gardens for the whole community, with music and climate-friendly food, and much, much more.
