Winter Festival
Our Winter Festival returns, sprinkling magic across our Community.
Come together this winter for glorious entertainment, music and singing, delicious food and drink, festive family fun with lots of activities and exciting stalls at our wonderous winter market!
Free to attend. All welcome. No booking required.
5pm – SCR market plus Reading SU stalls in 3Sixty (stalls selling lots of lovely gifts and free activities run by student societies).
5:30pm – Concert band to play festive songs outside Dol.cHe Vita.
6pm - Carol singing, speeches and light switch on in Palmer Quad.
6:30pm – Concert Band continues and guests can move into 3Sixty for stalls etc.
6:45pm – Jazz Band starts playing in 3Sixty.
8pm – Market stalls close and multiple bands continue playing in 3Sixty until late with access to bars.
Knights Café is open for boozy hot chocolate, Dol.cHe Vita will be serving mulled wine and mince pies and food market stalls will be serving hot food outside (weather permitting). Mojos in the Students’ Union building is open for food until 8pm and bars will be open until late.
