Blue Collar Corner proudly present masterful turntablist DJ Format alongside a live set from hip hop collective OSP plus support DJs and local party starters Rum n Donuts.

The title of his 2003 debut album says it all: Music For The Mature B-Boy. That’s DJ FORMAT for you, boiled down to the essence. He’s the grown up producer/beatmaker who, admittedly, spends far too long digging for bafflingly scarce records to play, sample, and make you dance. His five artist albums, featuring rap heavyweights like Edan, Mr Lif, Phill Most Chill, Jurassic 5, and of course long-time collaborator, Abdominal, have been called some of the highpoints in UK hip hop. His high-octane sets of soul, funk, Latin, and feel-good hip hop, have rocked spots the world over, be sure not to miss Format's intimate performance at Blue Collar Corner!

Reading-based brotherhood OSP - comprised of Esa Kwame (rapper, beat maker), J Blackz (rapper, singer-songwriter, beat maker), Silqe (rapper, beat maker), and Subject (producer, engineer) - has always strived to become a positive force within the UK’s hip-hop community. Previously supporting DJ Yoda and Grandmaster Flash, OSP's live performances have been turning heads with DJ Format himself declaring "these guys have immense stage presence" when following them on the Readipop Festival mainstage last year.

RUM N DONUTS DJs join us fresh off the back of their 50 Years of Hip Hop block party at Blue Collar Corner and will no doubt be brandishing many of those hip hop classics when they return for this special intimate party with one of their favourite DJs.
