RFT is an independent cinema, showcasing the best films from around the world. In 2020 we will celebrated our 50th anniversary. 

Our programme includes a mix of mainstream and independent cinema as well as foreign language films (subtitled in English). We screen beautifully made films which raise important and challenging issues, and we host film events with directors and filmmakers.

After a bumpy couple of years, we have found a new home at Reading Biscuit Factory, with our programme showing every other Wednesday. If you love film and want to watch the best in world cinema, RFT is still the place to be.
