Only the 3nd time I will have led this unique walk around some of the oldest roads of Reading. A fun, interactive Guided Walk. Some of the topics I will cover include; Alfred Waterhouse, A famous school, local pubs, reputation of the local roads, temperance and so much more., It SOLD OUT last time!

Please bring a cash donation of £5 or £10 per adult and £1 per child over 5. Proceeds will be split equally between my causes for the year. From 6 April 2026 - 5 April 2027 these are:
1st a main charity – Dingley's Promise (DP) - They strive to provide the best start for every child.
We support children in the early years with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.
This Year I'm for the 1st year ever, I will be doing a few Special DP Walkabouts based on there history etc. They were formed in Reading at Battle Hospital, became a charity and are starting to spread around the country, starting in the South with 12 Centre & their HQ is in Newbury. 2nd main charity – Green Health - They are a mental health charity that work with adults in a number of ways. Members may start with one-to-one teaching, and if comfortable, may then graduate to small groups, usually containing a maximum of 4 people. Our Therapeutic Horticulture Lead teaches horticulture skills at a pace that suits the individual. I have known Charlotte for several years and we have made all sorts of donations to them, from gardening equipment to a wishing well when we downsized.
