“It has been a real pleasure supporting the development and production of ‘Glitch’, a play that looks at one of the greatest legal scandals in the UK in the 21st century from the personal perspective of one of our neighbouring sub-post mistresses. Colleagues and students from the University of Reading have had the opportunity to learn in detail how a legal case can be brought to life and made accessible through this riveting play.”
Zannah Kearns, Writer said:
“In May 2024, the former CEO of the Post Office, Paula Vennells, was asked during the Horizon Public Inquiry why it was she’d emailed her husband asking for ‘a non-emotive word for bugs, glitches, defects.’
The purpose of this play, by contrast, is to be unashamedly emotive.”
