Plans for Halloween? If it’s vampires, blood and bats you’re after then get your ticket for Nosferatu at South Street.
The film was released in 1922 and is the iconic original and vampire film, loosely based on Bram Stoker’s Dracula. It has been brought to life by local musicians Year of the Kite who have composed an original score to accompany the film. The band will perform the soundtrack live; with piano, guitars, clarinet, violins and electronics. Think Slint, Beirut and Godspeed.
The show follows last year’s Nosferatu performance and another live soundtrack this June for sci-fi film Metropolis. Both shows sold out so buy your tickets now to avoid disappointment.
