A very special triple-bill of indie, with proceeds to Healing Venezuela.
After a spring tour, Mt Doubt return for their biggest Reading show to date. 2017’s album In Awe of Nothing and following EPs bring a rich, distinctive voice and epic, expansive tunes. Formed in 2015 as the project of frontman Leo Bargery, Mt. Doubt are a multi-instrumental alt-rock / dark-pop band with comparison made to The National, Nick Cave, and The Twilight Sad.
KT King and Rose, of youthful but well-established Reading rock legends Valeras, play at South Street for the first time in solo/duo guise. Fresh from a summer of festivals in Europe, they bring edgy vocals, fierce guitars, and heavy, hypnotic melodies.
The instantly recognisable, up and coming Harroland start off this special event, with their trademark dark and engaging sound, showcasing brand new tunes.
