Hansel and Gretel were born holding hands, nothing can keep them apart. Until one day they are cast out into the forbidden woods with no way home. Will they ever find one another again? Can they survive the dark, twisting festival of the forest? And what is that powerful smell of candy floss that keeps catching on the wind?
Multi-award winning, Guardian Top 20, local theatre company RBL return to South Street with the same team who created the hugely successful 2018 adaptation of A Christmas Carol.
Running time: 2 hours & 20 mins (including interval)
Advisory age: 8+
Relaxed Performance: Friday 20 December, 2.30pm
Although the show is already a family friendly experience for ages 8 and up, the relaxed performance has some minor changes to welcome those who may benefit from a more relaxed environment, including people with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability. This means that the music for this performance will be generally quieter, auditorium lights will remain on at a dimmer level and audience members are welcome to leave and re-enter the auditorium throughout the performance as needed.
A refreshing theatrical experience with great acting and imaginative use of puppetry and props. Funny and moving.
