Statement from The Grumpy Goat & South Street
Friday 29th January
It is always heartbreaking to cancel an event as we understand how disappointing it is, but as you may know, Craft Theory usually hosts brewers from all over the UK and abroad, and welcomes over 200 guests per session in a lively and busy environment. This format would be near impossible to deliver safely at the moment, and we would rather wait and present a full event experience than go ahead with a reduced affair, or compromise our visitors' safety and health.
The good news is, we will return in 2022 with the Craft Theory you know and love, with all the joy, companionship and good humour that great beer and great music can bring.
We want to thank you for your continued support of our festival, and can't wait for next year when we can safely welcome you back to South Street. We will party together again!
Stay safe and kind regards, Anne-Marie & Charlie from The Grumpy Goat, John Luther & the South Street team
