Halleluiah – it’s the SCCS Christmas concert - Handel’s Messiah!
A piece as iconic as Handel’s Messiah needs little introduction- it is one of the most widely-known and frequently-performed pieces of music in the world.
The South Chiltern Choral Society is delighted to invite you to its Christmas concert 2019, where they will be performing Handel’s Messiah together with some very special soloists and orchestra, all conducted by Paul Burke, the choir’s Musical Director.
The soloists are Louise Wayman (Soprano), Freya Jacklin-Edward (Mezzo soprano), Adrian Green (Tenor), Michael Hickman (Bass)
The concert will take place on Saturday 30th November at The Great Hall, University of Reading, London Road, Reading, RG1 5AQ, starting at 7.30 pm. The venue has free parking and wheelchair access.
The magic of a full choir singing this beloved masterpiece in the Great Hall makes Handel’s Messiah a Christmas concert not to be missed - we look forward to seeing you there!
