Spring Gospel Concert

In Aid of our Ukraine Appeal

After nearly two years of waiting, we are unbelievably excited to finally hold our rescheduled Spring Gospel Concert!

We were deeply disappointed to cancel our Christmas concerts in 2020 and 2021 because of COVID, so we are truly thrilled to finally be going ahead!

The Spring Gospel Concert will boast a performance by the incredible Reading Community Gospel Choir, who we are incredibly proud to have partnered with once again.

One of Berkshire's most successful choirs, Reading Community Gospel Choir were crowned champions of BBC Gospel Choir of the Year and will be performing a set of inspiring and uplifting Gospel music that we all need at this time.

Raising money for our Ukraine Emergency Appeal

Following the Afghanistan Crisis last August, demand for our services has flown by more than 460%.

We’re supporting more than 800 people being housed in hotels locally. We're helping 35 Afghan families to settle permanently here in Berkshire. All while we continue to support the hundreds of refugees living in our wider community.

Now the war in Ukraine has forced more than 4 million people to flee their homes and Ukrainian families have started arriving in Berkshire. We’re already supporting those families with information, advice, mental health support and practical help, but we expect many more families to arrive in the coming months and we need your help to give them the support they urgently need.

All the money raised from the Spring Gospel Concert will go directly to expanding our support services, so every refugee arriving in Berkshire can get the help they need.
