This October half term, there's a whole host of spooktacular trails and fangtastic activities to discover and enjoy at Reading Museum!

Where’s Wally? Museum Search

(Wednesday 14 October – Saturday 31 October)

Can you find the mini Wallies hidden around the Museum and spell out the spooky phrase? Collect your free bookmark once you have finished the trail.

Spooky Pom Pom Spider Trail and Craft Pack

(Saturday 24 October – Saturday 31 October)

Hunt high and low for the eight spooky spiders hiding our galleries! Follow our clues to find the object, and then search for the spider lurking nearby! Each spider holds a letter in its web. Can you put them together to discover the mysterious word? Once you're finished, collect your spider craft pack to take away and make at home!

Families, £2 per trail/pack. Book your trail and craft pack online, and don't forget to book your free entrance ticket!

Virtual Storytime with Bertie Badger

(Wednesday 28 October, 10.30am)

Join the gallery team for an online story featuring our very own Bertie Badger! We will be streaming an online reading of ‘Bertie and the Butterfly’ via our Reading Museum Facebook page for families to enjoy.

Halloween Activity Cart Packs

(Saturday 24 October – Saturday 31 October)

We will have packs containing a range of creepy crafts available to buy in the Museum and make at home.
