This amateur production by Progress Theatre is presented by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.
Bertie Wooster is staging a one-man show about his recent experiences at the country house, Totleigh Towers, but soon discovers he needs help to tell the story...
Ably helped by his valet, Jeeves, and Aunt Dahlia's butler, Seppings, watch as the events of the weekend unfold:
Who will end up with the silver cow creamer?
Will Madeline and Gussie call off the wedding??
Does Constable Oates find his Policeman's helmet?
All performances are open to everybody, but we make special arrangements on the following days:
Matinée Shows, Sat 3 & 10 Sept: on top of the usual 7.45pm show, we also have matinée shows with an earlier start time of 2,30pm.
Relaxed Performance, Mon 5 Sept: featuring a more relaxed performance environment, these shows are ideal for families with young children, people with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability.
Socially Distanced Seating, Tue 6 Sept: for those who may not feel comfortable sitting in a full theatre, we ensure there will always be an empty seat around your booking in front, behind and to either side.
Come As You Are Night, Wed 7 Sept: we know for trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming people it can sometimes be hard to feel safe and welcome in a new environment. These nights offer early opening times and changing facilities before and after the show. Our Front of House volunteers also have inclusivity training.
