SQUIDS IN: A Queer Cabaret Open Mic

A Reading-based online event brought to you by A Girl Called Stephen Theatre and Double Okay

We are collaborating our queer minds to bring you SQUIDS IN!

Bringing you great talent from Reading’s queer artists for one magical night on zoom, the space where dreams thrive. After the year we’ve had… I think we deserve to virtually blossom.

We want queer people and allies to rally together in a supportive space and celebrate queer art through a variety of performances. From absurd to mainstream, experimental to completely unoriginal: we love it all! We are getting together (digitally) and showing appreciation for what queer artists have to say right now.

We cannot wait to showcase some of the amazing queer talent that Reading has to offer in an inclusive and vibrant farewell to lockdown (until the next one?!).

This event will occur on zoom at 8pm on Thursday 13th May. The hosts and some performers will be streaming live from South Street Arts Centre.

If you cannot pay for a live ticket but wish to attend, please contact us via agirlcalledstephen@gmail.com and we will arrange free entry. No-one will be turned away for lack of funds.
