Are You Listening? Festival 2020

Rescheduled date

NEW DATE: Sat 10 Oct, doors 12 noon

In line with the Government’s response to the ongoing Coronavirus epidemic, rescheduling Are You Listening? Festival for later in the year has now become unavoidable.

The new date for Are You Listening? Festival will be Saturday 10th October 2020, when we hope things will have improved enormously and we can all come together to enjoy live music again.

We’re very pleased that most of our line-up will still be performing on the new date and we will make further announcements on that very soon.

Please note: all tickets remain valid for the new date. If you’re unable to make the new date, you can request a refund for the price of the ticket from the point of purchase.

We are putting Tier 2 tickets back on sale as our way of saying ‘thank you’ for your continued support.  If you have already purchased a Tier 3 ticket, we will give you a complimentary drink voucher at the Festival on 10th October.

Reading's award-winning new music festival returns for its EIGHTH YEAR.

Are You Listening? Festival takes over eight of Reading’s finest live venues on Sat 10th Oct 2020. All the acts have now been announced, with new names like Self Esteem, stage moniker of Rebecca Taylor who makes pop with synchronised dance routines and gargantuan choruses, Baba Ali who deals in a blend of electronic grooves and blues, and a DJ set from music legend John Robb all added to the bill.

They join previously-announced names including genius piano rocker BC Camplight, power punk trio Dream Wife, explosive sleaze rockers Warmduscher, Breakbeat pioneers Freestylers, Jazz-punk rockers Melt Yourself Down, brooding piano crooner Matt Maltese, eight-limbed noise rockers JOHN, and many more brilliant live acts and DJs.

The festival raises money for local Learning Disability charity, Reading Mencap, and has raised almost £70,000 for the independent charity since 2013. The festival are also proud to partner with Safe Gigs For Women, supporting their work to fight harassment in live music.
