Ladies Day by Amanda Whittington tells the tale of four workers at a fish factory in Hull, who decide to attend the Ascot Ladies Day races.
It is June 2005 and Royal Ascot has temporarily relocated to York due to rebuilding works. Jan, Pearl, Linda and Shelley decide to take this once in a lifetime opportunity, each pinning their particular hopes and dreams on this exciting day off work.
This amateur production of “Ladies’ Day” is presented by arrangement with Nick Hern Books
