S.O.S Drag Night: Xmas Edition

Let’s get Grinchyyyyy 🎄

On Saturday 18th December, S.O.S will return to The Rising Sun Arts Centre. Think camp, think drag, think a queer Reading night of drinks, music and performances from local acts….


Now that The Rising Sun have their brand spanking new ventilation installed, this event will run at full capacity! The night will be seated in chairs, and the bar will be open. The event will take place indoors.

Tickets available on a sliding scale, pay what you can basis to enable those in differing financial situations to come and join in this fun!:

  • £12 Solidarity Ticket
  • £20 VIP Tipper

No-one turned away for lack of funds, please email to arrange free entry if needed.

Covid Regulations

We ask that you take lateral flow tests before you attend to ensure a negative result. We will not be asking for evidence of negative tests, but we want to be clear that we expect our community to look after each other.

We recommend that you wear masks inside the building unless seated.

Please as always respect people’s personal space, and allow room for people to social distance should they wish to.

DO NOT ATTEND if you are displaying any Covid symptoms or test positive for Covid-19.

The downstairs of the Rising Sun Arts Centre where this event is held is wheelchair accessible. There is a disabled access toilet on the ground floor, and the bar area is also wheelchair accessible.

This event will be seated, but please feel free to get up and stretch or move around when you need to.

There is a space upstairs (not wheelchair accessible) if you need a break out space - please talk to a volunteer on the night if you need this. There is a car park space outside that can also be used as a break out space.
