The Hexagon is a multi-purpose entertainment venue in the heart of Reading, hosting an eclectic mix of entertainers from big name Comedians, Spectacular Musicals, Children's Shows, Classical Concerts, Opera, Pantomime, Theatre, Dance and everything in between.
Built in 1977 by Robert Matthew Johnson Marshall (RMJM) in the Brutalist style of modernist architecture, the venue's capacity varies from 1,200 to 1,686 depending on the programme.
Please note there will be no bar service available at socially distanced events but a full range of refreshments are available to pre-order and will be delivered to your seat on arrival. Drinks and refreshments can be added to your order at the checkout when booking tickets.
Please note that alcohol sales are for over 18's only, you may be asked for ID and Reading Arts reserves the right to refuse service.
If you have already purchased your tickets you can add a pre-order up to 2 hours before the start of the performance by clicking the link on the event page.
Please ensure that tickets and pre-orders are purchased with the same Reading Arts account.
You may cancel or amend an existing refreshment order up to 4 hours before the start of the performance.

To ensure that you enjoy your time at The Hexagon as much as possible we have several food and drink areas available to you, selling everything from bottled and draught beers on our bars to hot meals and cakes on our Café to sweets, snacks and coffees on our Coffee Bar.
Please note that all hospitality areas will close on the 3 minute call before a show and re-open again at the interval.
