IMPORTANT INFORMATION: In light of the current situation and due to the nature of this event, doubledotdash!? and South Street have decided to introduce some extra covid precautions to minimise the risk of infection for audiences and staff.
All visitors and staff will be required to present an NHS COVID pass to gain access to the festival.
The NHS COVID Pass is a certificate that demonstrates that you have at least one of the following:
· You have completed a full course of vaccination [at least 14 days ago].
· You have received a negative PCR or lateral flow test result within [48 hours of the event].
· You have proof of natural immunity by way of a positive PCR test in the last 180 days (after required self-isolation has finished)
We will accept proof of NHS COVID Pass in the following forms:
via the NHS App (including a downloadable pdf), the NHS.UK website; and/or as a paper letter, which can be requested through the NHS.UK website or by ringing 119.
More details on the pass can be found at NHS COVID Pass - NHS (www.nhs.uk)
That’s right - you saw correctly. We are hoping to bring you a slightly slimmed down DOUBLEDOTBASH on 18th September! Due to the Covid-19 pandemic South Street has been closed, but following government announcements that social distancing rules will be lifted we are pushing forward with out plans.
DOUBLEDOTBASH has been running since 2010, and is an opportunity for the most open-minded music fans in Reading (and surrounding areas) to feast on underground music of all styles. Previous guests over the years have included heavy hitters HEY COLOSSUS, MAX TUNDRA, EUROS CHILDS, and last year’s headliners PORRIDGE RADIO. Hidden gems such as RUTGER HAUSER, DOG LEGS, and JOHN Q MICROWAVE have rubbed shoulders with local heroes WORKIN’ MAN NOISE UNIT, MONSTER MOVIE, and TODDLERS.
THIS YEAR’S LINEUP:
SOUND OF YELL
As always Tutu's Ethiopian Table will be on site selling their fantastic food and the South Street bar will be on hand with local craft beer, artisan spirits & much, much more.
As most of you are aware, South Street is a small venue where social distancing is not possible with an event of this type. If the government guidance changes then the event may have to be postponed, but rest assured that if this does occur tickets will remain valid for the new date, and/or refunds will be available.
Please note this is a standing event with music across two stages at South Street.
